You're Still Here

by Cori Anne Laemmel
Directed by Cori Anne Laemmel

August 1-4, 2024 AT Oz Arts Nashville

Soon after the death of her Father, Mia starts to see her Grief personified. At first, she is frustrated with her new friend’s presence, but soon learns that as her friends and family see her Grief, they give her the attention and understanding she needs while she is healing. As time goes on, fewer and fewer of her friends and family are able to see her Grief and Mia wonders if she is the only person who can see her, why is she still here? You're Still Here explores grief through the lens of a young person with truth, humor and beauty. This show explores mature topics and uses some adult language. Prior to auditions, we ask that all parents and performers read the script to make an informed decision about their child and the content.

Specialty Plates.

The Tennessee Arts Commission is a huge supporter of The Theater Bug, and one of the reasons we are still able to provide programming to the community, even under the most difficult of times. You can help support by participating in the specialty license plate program! An adorable design and supporting an organization that supports many of the theaters you know and love in Tennessee!
