ABOUT THE THEATER BUG
Under the artistic direction of Nashville actress and playwright Cori Anne Laemmel, The Theater Bug offers free and low cost performing arts programming year-round, to youth ages 5-18, inspiring young people to build community and confidence, onstage and off, as both actors and activists. The Bug's annual programming includes the production of full-length original plays and musicals that tackle tough issues--like childhood cancer, adoption, bullying, and teen depression and suicide--with compassion and insight that inspire community engagement.
